Ran across a cool twitter post (sorry, I just can’t bring myself to using twitter lingo w/o feeling like a total douche) today on augmented reality. If you want to actually give it a try yourself, check out http://ge.ecomagination.com/smartgrid/#/augmented_reality. You can print out the marker and run the Flash AR app straight from the site. Having worked as an engineer for G.E., I’m dumb founded that they got a streak of geek coolness and did something like this.
